Stains

It’s always tough to get stains out your little one’s clothes. You know, those stains from formula and whatnot that seem to always get trapped in your little one’s best baby clothes?

Here is one way, that I came across, to help remove those stains. Sprinkle a little baking soda on the stain and then pour on a little club soda. It will foam up and you have to let it sit and work for a little bit. Then take an old toothbrush and gently scrub the stain. The stain should loosen up and dissolve then all you have to do is wash it as usual.

Cleaning your outdoor furniture

I’m sure, if you have outdoor furniture, you know how nasty looking it can get. Here are some tips for making your patio furniture come clean.

For aluminum furniture:
Place a good amount of dish washing detergent on a plastic scrubber or steel wool and begin to scrub.

When you’re finished, rinse the furniture real well and let it dry.

For white plastic furniture:
Place 1 gallon warm water in a bucket and add 3 teaspoons of dishwasher detergent .

Wash down the furniture with this solution.

Let the solution set on the furniture for approximately 15 minutes. (The dishwasher detergent has a bleaching agent in it that will whiten the furniture.)

Rinse and dry.

To clean unfinished wood furniture, scrub surface with a mixture of 1 cup household ammonia, 1/2 cup vinegar and 1 gallon water. Rinse well and wipe with an absorbent cloth to remove excess moisture.

Or you can do what I do.. throw it out and buy new stuff!
