Scrapbooking

Scrapbooking is cool thing to get into. You can make lots of neat things using scrapbooking techniques. My daughter has made scrapbooks for the kids, you can make birth announcements, wedding invitations and more.

I haven’t gotten into scrapbooking yet but I’d like to give it a try. I want to make something for my mom, who is in a nursing home, with pictures of her grandkids and great grandkids for her to keep in her room. I know she would love it.

One of these days I will have the time and the money to give it a try and will post pictures of my projects.

Spice up your pictures

Are your picture frames dull and boring? They don’t have to be. You can use scrapbook supplies to spice up the photos in your picture frames. You can use foil embossed emblems, small banners, cut outs and other papers. Use alphabet letter stickers, around the actual picture frame, to spell out “Baby’s 1st Birthday”, “Our Wedding”, “Our Anniversary”, etc.

Put the picture in a frame that’s much larger than the picture then use a colored piece of paper as the background then apply stickers, writings, banners, cut-outs and other things to decorate around the picture, across the bottom or top, or down the sides of the photo.
