I have a lot of pictures on my phone’s SD card. It’s a micro card so I need to find some sort of adapter so I can transfer them to my computer. Thank goodness when I got my new phone a couple weeks ago I was able to put the SD card from the old phone into my new one. At least I didn’t lose any pictures.
I had the LG Rumor and got the new LG Rumor 2. I really like this new phone so much better. When I text I no long have to use the fn key to type numbers and a few other things. The best thing about this phone is that it was FREE! I had a $150 upgrade on our account and then there was a $99.99 instant savings on the website… so my $249.99 phone was absolutely free. I just love deals like that!
Looks like I’m going to have a lot of time on my hands. I don’t mean a Patek Philippe watch either. I may not be called back to my job this season so I’ll have a lot of time to do organizing and stuff.
You can read why at ArmyMom. So I can get my closets cleaned out and organized (not that they don’t need it!). I can spend more time baking and more time on my poor neglected blogs. Can you believe that I haven’t even changed any of the themes in, at least, 3 months? I’m always changing themes. There have been times that I’ve changed a theme a couple times in 1 day.
I’ll just have to remember to take before and after pictures of my organizing so I have something to post about.
Back in 1972 or 1973 hubby and I took the 1st of our Disney vacations in Florida. I think they had recently opened and there were not a lot of people in the park. I have pictures to prove it. We took the kids back in 1986, I think, and it was a whole different story. The crowds were huge! The kids had a blast and we are glad we took them.
See the picture below? You won’t see the streets of Disney World looking like that now when the park is open. There were people there… there just weren’t a whole lot of them.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words… that is if you have your camera with you.. and your batteries are charged or fresh… and your compact flash card is empty. If your batteries are dead then that picture is worth nothing.
I always download photos from my camera as soon as possible after taking pictures. When we went to Texas I downloaded every night when we stopped for the night. After we got home I transferred the pictures from the laptop to my desktop and then saved them to disk so I’ll always have them. It’s about time to do a photo backup again as I’ve added a lot more pictures to my desktop. It would be so sad if something happened to the desktop and those memories were lost.
