They are just like the detergent packs that you buy for your dishwasher. They are 6X concentrated and you use 1 for a small or medium load and 2 for a large load. They work in top or front loading washers.

I was given the Fresh Scent (which I’m using on my clothes) and the scent + dye free (which I’m using on hubby’s clothes). The little packs just dissolve in the wash water. The directions say to pretreat nasty stains the toss dropps into the washer then pile laundry right on top. Easy.. no mess. The only thing that would make these better is to have fabric softener in them so there isn’t a need for separate dryer sheets. They even have Dropps Baby formulated for baby’s tender skin.

The ingredients are biodegradable nonionic surfactants and no artificial whitening agents. They are a great green product. Since they are 6X concentrated and comes in these tiny packs it saves water, plastic and cardboard. It takes fewer trucks to ship thus saving fuel and cutting emissions. They are enzyme free, NPE free, Phosphate free, biodegradable and safe for septic tanks. Not a lot of products can make that statement. They work very well and my clothes came out clean and smelling good. I would definitely buy them.

These would also be good for sending to your child who is off at college. They are light weight and could be slipped right into a care package with no problem. I would suggest sending them to our deployed troops except that they have people over there that do their laundry for them but if you have a loved one stationed in a foreign country then these would be great to send them. They are handy to take with you when traveling. No need to haul large, heavy bottles of detergent. No need to buy expensive single packs at a laundromat.

You can buy them online at the Dropps website or search for a store that sells them in your area. Unfortunately they are not in stores in my area yet, but I can buy them online (I found them at Wal-Mart.. I just didn’t expand the search area far enough).
