When I moved into my condo there were paint drips all over the vinyl floors. I tried all kinds of things to get the paint off from using a dull blade from a utility knife to one of those scrubbing sponges. Nothing was working. I finally wet the spots and used a metal spatula to remove the paint. It worked really well.
The floor has grooves in it so I had to use a small screwdriver to get the paint out of the grooves. My floor looks so much better now. Now I don’t cringe when I walk into my kitchen.
I tried to do the same thing in the bathroom but I need to find a plan B for that room because the flooring has a different makeup than the kitchen floor and the paint just won’t come off. I even tried nail polish remover (in a hidden area) but that just started removing the finish of the floor… (oops!!!).
I’ll get it all cleaned up eventually. It will just be a case of trial and error in the bathroom.
