Aluminum Foil

Do you know there are a ton of uses for aluminum foil? Well there are. You can use it for just about anything except for a substitute for a cell tower. You can wrap foil around the arms of your glasses when you dye your hair to keep from staining your frames. You can use heavy-duty foil to clean out your fireplace. Place a double layer in the bottom of the fireplace or just under the wood grate and when it’s full of ashes just fold up the foil and throw it away.

Foil can help you move furniture on a smooth surface too. Just put small pieces of foil under the legs, dull side down, and push the piece across the room. You can find lots more uses for foil here.

Purging/Cleaning

I just put a poll up in my left sidebar. I want to know when you do your “seasonal” or “heavy duty” cleaning. You know, when you go through all the stuff you’ve collected for a long time and throw stuff out or get it together for yard sales or to give away.

A lot of people do “spring cleaning” but I do it whenever the urge strikes me. I don’t have a set schedule for this kind of thing.

What do you do? I’m looking forward to seeing your answers. Please vote in the poll and leave an comment on this post.
