Looking

We have been looking for a place to rent. We’d love to buy but since I’ve been out of work our credit has gotten fairly crappy and probably wouldn’t be able to get a mortgage. I’ve been calling agents and left them messages but haven’t gotten a call back from any of them.

It’s not like we want something huge with a room dedicated to fitness equipment. We just need a 2 or 3 bedroom/2 bath place. We’d like it to be a house but we will even take another condo or townhouse. Just as long as there is room for hubby, Andi, Drew, the baby and me.

Anyone out there have something nice to rent in Atlantic County, NJ for under $1500 a month.. in a decent area?

Thieves

I wrote the other day that I ordered a wireless mouse. Yesterday I went to check on the delivery status of my order and I was quite surprised to find out that had been delivered on Thursday. Well, when I came home from work on Thursday there was no package at my door or on my balcony. I tried to put in a claim with UPS but they said that the shipper had to do that. I called the company I ordered the mouse from and they are going to put a trace on the package, which will take about 8 business days, and if it doesn’t turn up anywhere they will send a new one. This time they will require a signature at time of delivery.

You see… I live in a condo complex and not exactly the best people live here. When I first moved in I ordered a webcam and it was left at the door and stolen. That time the little thieves left evidence.. the opened box with my name and address on it.. right in front of my door. The box was empty. This time there was absolutely no trace of the package at all. I guess they figured it was one of those small business opportunitites.

This will be my last year in this place. When my lease is up we will either buy or rent a house. No more condo complexes for us!

Shopping

I don’t really like to go out to stores to do my shopping. I usually have trouble finding what I’m looking for or don’t like the selection of things. I’m partial to shopping online. It saves gas and keeps you from running from store to store to find the best buy. All it takes is a few clicks to find what you want online. I’m addicted to online shopping.

Sometimes you even get lucky and don’t have to pay shipping. There are a few places like that but most times I have to pay shipping. I really don’t mind that if I saves me the hassle of going to several stores to find what I want.

Do you do a lot of online shopping?
