Bad day

I’m not having a real good day today. I’ve been babysitting Benton since Wednesday because Andi had Army business to take care of in Texas. She got back last night but had to be in Ft. Dix today and tomorrow for her Army Reserves weekend.

I swear I want to put up some wireless security cameras in the bedroom to see what Benton is doing when I put him down for his nap. I put him down today and a few minutes later he started crying. I went in to see what was wrong and he was completely soaked along with his pillow, quilt, clothes and his blankies. Evidently I didn’t put the cap on his bottle correctly and it leaked all over.

Note to self: just because the cap is tight doesn’t mean it’s on right… check it first!

Today wasn’t a good day

Today wasn’t a very good day. I had a headache that felt like my head was a bout to explode. Nothing would touch it until I went up to my room and laid down. I had the room darkening shades pulled down and the TV volume on low. I got myself under the covers and it felt so good with eyes closed that I ended up falling asleep. That nap was the best migraine treatment I could have ever done.

I don’t really know if it was a migraine or not but my eyes hurt, my ears hurt and my whole face and head hurt. I woke up and it felt a whole lot better. It wasn’t a hundred percent but it was about 90 percent better. I hope I never get another headache like that again. I don’t like being in pain at all.

Ick

I don’t know what’s wrong with my feet besides the toenail fungus I have but my feet get red patches on them. The patches go away and leave dry scaly patches. I think it’s eczema. It itches and it keeps coming back over and over again.

I wish I could find something to make it go away for good. I usually have to end up using tons of moisturizer every day to keep the dry, scaly skin away but by night time it’s usually back. I see flakes of dead skin in my bed and have to wash my sheets and stuff more often than I’d like to.

Write it down

When you grocery shop do you use a list or do you remember everything you need? When I shop, if I don’t use a list, I forget lots of things. My memory is getting terrible. I blame it on age but I think it’s because I have so much on my mind that I forget.

I don’t have this trouble at work. I can remember what I have to do and when I have to do it but when I’m not at work I’m a complete scatterbrain. I’ll think of things that I have to do on my way home from work and just a couple miles away from work I’ll forget all about that and go right home. I’ll walk in the door then remember what I had to do. Or I’ll remember it when I’m about to climb into bed.

Anyone have any good memory pills? I sure could use them!
