I moved 2 weeks ago and it feels so good to finally be out of that camper we were in. I’m living at my sister-in-laws house with my daughter, her fiancĂ©e and son. I’m also living with a kitty and puppy too. They don’t get along too well yet but they are getting better being around each other.
My sister-in-law moved into a 1 bedroom condo and we are paying rent and also trying to fix the place up so she can sell it later on. The house needs lots of paint and care to get it ready for sale. There is a fireplace in the basement that is white painted brick. It would be nice to be able to get rid of the brick and replace that with one of the nice Amish fireplaces that I’ve seen. There is one that even has a entertainment center type surround for it.
This house is electric and having a fireplace in the winter helps to keep the heating bills down. It doesn’t have central air either, just window units. We only put the air on in the rooms we are in. At night we turn off the downstairs units and turn on the bedroom units.
I have a new grand daughter. This makes grandbaby #7. Sophia Josephine was born on July 20, 2010. She weighed 7 lbs 11 ounces and was 19 inches long. She has black hair and blue eyes.
Her parents are my oldest son and his wife who live in Texas. Sophia is their 2nd child. They have a 3 year old son named Trey.
Since I live in New Jersey and am unemployed I don’t know when I’ll get to meet Sophia. We can’t afford to travel right now. We just don’t have the money for that. I’ll just have to be content to watch her grow up in pictures for now.
I have the bathroom all fixed up here. It just needs a nice paint job. I don’t really care for the color…. it’s too dark. I found a basket that I had with me that I put on the back of toilet tank that I have my deodorant, toothpaste, hair brush, combs, and makeup in (no testosterone cream though).
It’s so nice to have a full sized tub/shower, a real toilet and normal sized sink again. After living in a camper and using a tiny shower, a camper toilet and small sink I feel like I’m living in a castle!

These sound so good. Benton might even like them if we can get him to stop typing on the computer keys and adding stuff like tm-t88iv to my posts!

Here is something different to make for dinner some night. It’s making me hungry just looking at it. Prep time is 15 minutes. Total time is 30 minutes and it makes 14 1/2 cup servings. It won’t stop hair loss for men or anyone for that matter but it should taste delicious!
2 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup butter
1 box (7.2 oz) home-style creamy butter or roasted garlic mashed potatoes
1 can (15.25 oz) whole kernel corn drained
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz)
1 can (2.8 oz) french-fried onions
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 13 x 9 inch (3 quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Heat milk, water and margarine to boiling in a 3 quart saucepan. Stir in the contents of both pouches of potatoes until just moistened. Let stand for 1 minute. Stir with a fork until smooth then stir in the corn.
2. Spoon half of the potato mixture into the dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 each of the cheese and onions. Top with the remaining potatoes and sprinkle with remaining cheese and onions.
3. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and onions are golden in color.
This uses 4 kinds of Chex Cereals and wouldn’t be one of the best weight loss products but it sure looks good!
Prep time is 15 minutes and makes 18 1/2 cup servings
9 cups Corn Chex, Rice Chex, Wheat Chex or Chocolate Chex cereal (or a combination of any or all.

2. In a 1 quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on high for 1 minute. Stir. Pour into a 2 gallon resealable food storage bag.
3. Add the powdered sugar. Seal the bag and shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
* You can use peanut butter chips instead of chocolate chips
I’m moving tomorrow. I’m finally getting out of this camper. It’s been a long 9 months. I’m moving in, and sharing a house, with my daughter, her fiancee, my 10 month old grandson and their puppy.
Today I’ve been packing up my stuff from here. I have my toothpaste, clothes, sleeping pills, hairbrush, makeup and all the stuff I brought from the condo all packed up.
I can’t wait to get the heck out of here. I hate it with a passion. It will be so nice to have a heck of a lot more room to move around in. I’ll have a bedroom that’s about 5 times bigger than the one in this camper.
