The following is a review. I was not paid by or contacted by anyone to do this review. I bought the product, tried it and decided to do a review.
I got Clairol Natural Instincts hair color a few weeks ago and finally tried it out this morning and I’m not very impressed with it. There are 2 pluses for this product. It only takes 10 minutes and it doesn’t have that ammonia smell other hair color products have. My hair does feel nice and soft and it’s a little shinier.
The minus is that it didn’t change my hair color. My roots are still dark and the rest of my hair didn’t change colorwise. I got the same result as just washing my hair with shampoo infused with vitamins.
I will not use this product again nor do I recommend it.
Yesterday I got some samples in the mail of these new detergent Dropps. They are just like the detergent packs that you buy for your dishwasher. They are 6X concentrated and you use 1 for a small or medium load and 2 for a large load. They work in top or front loading washers.
I was given the Fresh Scent (which I’m using on my clothes) and the scent + dye free (which I’m using on hubby’s clothes). The little packs just dissolve in the wash water. The directions say to pretreat nasty stains the toss dropps into the washer then pile laundry right on top. Easy.. no mess. The only thing that would make these better is to have fabric softener in them so there isn’t a need for separate dryer sheets. They even have Dropps Baby formulated for baby’s tender skin.
The ingredients are biodegradable nonionic surfactants and no artificial whitening agents. They are a great green product. Since they are 6X concentrated and comes in these tiny packs it saves water, plastic and cardboard. It takes fewer trucks to ship thus saving fuel and cutting emissions. They are enzyme free, NPE free, Phosphate free, biodegradable and safe for septic tanks. Not a lot of products can make that statement. They work very well and my clothes came out clean and smelling good. I would definitely buy them.
These would also be good for sending to your child who is off at college. They are light weight and could be slipped right into a care package with no problem. I would suggest sending them to our deployed troops except that they have people over there that do their laundry for them but if you have a loved one stationed in a foreign country then these would be great to send them. They are handy to take with you when traveling. No need to haul large, heavy bottles of detergent. No need to buy expensive single packs at a laundromat.
You can buy them online at the Dropps website or search for a store that sells them in your area. Unfortunately they are not in stores in my area yet, but I can buy them online (I found them at Wal-Mart.. I just didn’t expand the search area far enough).

I take several different meds each day and if I didn’t organize them I’d get all messed up. I use an organizer like the one in the picture to keep my meds straight. I got mine at CVS and it helps to keep my morning meds separate from my night time meds.
You could use this for all kinds of things. You can use it for your meds, diet pills, small screws or nails or to hold just about any small item. It’s a very handy item that I couldn’t do without. The one I have even has removable containers in case you need to go somewhere and will be out of the house at your scheduled pill taking time.
I went grocery shopping this morning and saw the neatest thing on the shelf near the eggs. It’s called Batter Blaster and it comes in an aerosol can like whipped cream.
I brought it home and decided to try it out and have waffles for lunch. I sprayed some Pam on the waffle plates and shook the can of batter, turned the can upside down and pushed the nozzle. It couldn’t have been easier.. no mess.. no mixing and best of all the waffles came out so nice and fluffy.
I was so engrossed on tasting the waffles that I forgot to take pictures.. but I did take a picture of the can afterward. You should try it! It’s so easy and tastes so good.
Remember when medical id jewelry was plain and didn’t go with anything you wear? Now you can get some that are a little more stylish. You can even get one that doubles as a watch.
If you have a medical condition that could render you unable to tell someone what is wrong with you in an emergency a medical id is a very good thing to have. You just have the specifics of you medical condition engraved on the jewelry. That way if you are unconscious medical personnel can get you the help you need as soon as possible.
How do you pay your bills? Do you do it the old fashioned way and write a check, make out an envelope, buy stamps, put a stamp on the envelope then drive to a mailbox to mail your checks out? That seems like an awful lot of steps.. doesn’t it? I hate paying the old fashioned way. I either pay with my debit/check card or I use my banks fee online bill pay. It saves time, money, and trips to the post office.
When you buy online, just like I did a few minutes ago, some places offer a way to pay cash using eBillme. The steps to accomplish this are very simple. You go to your banks online bill pay and add eBillme to your list of payees. After you use the checkout you go and bring up eBillme at your online bill pay, key in the amount you just spent and bingo.. you’ve paid for your purchase.
I just bought a wireless optical mouse online using eBillme and let me tell you it was so quick and so easy to do. I will definitely pay using that method again. No wasted paper, no wasted time and most importantly, with the price of fuel, no wasted gas!
I found a company that makes Chicken Kiev as good as the Chicken Kiev that I make myself. The company is Barber Foods. This chicken is stuffed with butter, garlic and parsley. The chicken is all white/breast meat and it’s delicious. It comes frozen and you put it in the oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. It is so delicious. Serve the chicken with your favorite sides. My favorites are mashed potatoes or fried potatoes and corn or green beans.
Barber foods has a large selection of foods. I especially love their All-American Chicken fingers. I love to use them to make a delicious chicken sandwich, on a roll, with my “special sauce”. If you can find this product in your local grocery store/supermarket I suggest you try them. You won’t be sorry. I really love them!
This place needs new faucets. They’re so old. The faucet in the kitchen leaks when you move the spout. That makes such a big mess! The bathroom faucets aren’t much better. I’d love to get the landlord to install a new Moen faucet in the kitchen and bathroom. He could get a good deal and a wide selection of faucets at Faucet.com. He could get free shipping if he spends $199.00.
It’s not like I want faucets that would require a loan to be taken out! I just want faucets that don’t leak all over the place! He could get some at a reasonable price at Faucets.com. Maybe if I give everyone his address, you could all help me out and send him letters asking him to buy me new faucets? *Ya’ll know I’m joking, right?*
