I went to the grocery store and picked up a nice top round roast and some carrots. I also got some Crockery Gourmet seasoning for beef. I put the seasoning in the Crockpot with 2 cups of water and stirred it up. Then I put in the 3 lb roast followed by a large onion cut up in chunks, 3 large potatoes, with the skin on, cut in chunks and several handfuls of baby carrots into the Crockpot. I put the cover on and put it on low where it will sit and cook for 7 hours.

I’ve never used that seasoning before so I thought I’d give it a try. It smells very good. They also have many other varieties for beef, chicken, pork, etc.

Looks good. How was the seasoning? Was it good? I haven’t used my crockpot in forever, I should dig it out again – lol

Sue… It was DELICIOUS. I didn’t even have to thicken the gravy. The seasoning did it for me. Hubby LOVED it! Get your crock pot out and get cooking!
