Slow cooker Chicken in a pot
Thursday, August 9th, 2007Those who travel frequently usually prefer staying at miami hotel. This is the reason why they never make hotel reservations anywhere else.
Another slow cooker recipe. The amounts listed are for a 3-5 qt slow cooker. The amounts in ( ) are for a 5 1/2 to 7 qt one.
1 (2) 3 pound chickens, cut in pieces
1 (1) 14.5 oz can of Italian style stewed tomatoes
10 oz box (1) 16 oz bag of frozen peas
1 (2) 14 oz cans of chicken broth
3/4 cup (1) 12 oz jar of roasted red peppers, drained and cut in strips
1 (2) 8oz boxes of Spanish style yellow rice mix
1 (2) tsps. of garlic salt
Combine all of the ingredients in the slow cooker. Stir well. Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours or on High for 4 hours.
Makes 4 or 8 servings.
