Digital Camera Tip

I have a Kodak digital camera that used to eat batteries for breakfast. I would only get about 6-8 pictures out of a set of batteries. This was even with the lithium *very expensive* batteries. I found Duracell digital camera batteries and I’ve taken tons of pictures with just 1 set of batteries. I highly recommend Duracell digital camera batteries!

Yum Yum Cake

This is another of my grandmom’s recipes.

1 pkg. raisins
Boil in 2 cups of water for 15 minutes. Add 1/2 cup lard while hot.

Let cool, then add:

1 cup water
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 cups flour
1 tbsp. baking soda.

put into 2 loaf pans

Bake 1 hour. (sorry she didn’t give a temperature for the oven)

makes two loaf cakes.
